Bourbon Blues

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ oz. Edmond’s Honor Bourbon
  • 1 oz. Blueberry Juice
  • ¼ oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
  • ¾ oz. Salted Pretzel Reduction*
  • ½ oz. Egg White
  • 3 dashes Toasted Almond Bitters (optional)

Preparation

  1. Measure and add all ingredients into a small tin and dry shake.
  2. Add ice to tin and shake again.
  3. Double strain into stemless martini glass.
  4. Garnish with lemon wheel.

*Salted Pretzel Reduction


Ingredients

  • 16 oz. Bag of Pretzels
  • 2 quarts Sugar
  • 3 quarts Water

Preparation

  1. Place pretzels in a pot with 2 quarts of water at 250F.
  2. Simmer for 10min.
  3. Double strain into container, use 1 quart to strain product.
  4. Place strained product into pan to heat for 10min at 180F.
  5. Add 2 quarts of sugar and stir until dissolved.
  6. Let cool to room temperature.
