Sip a Rum and Tobacco Cocktail on National Cigar Day

February 27 is National Cigar Day, a perfect moment to slow down, sit back and enjoy the taste and aroma of tobacco while uncovering one of the world’s untold stories: the pairing of cigar and rum.
Cigars, like rum, are a unique combination of taste, aroma, and calming effects. So why not pairing both for an elevated experience?
This unique recipe made with Ron del Barrito, the world’s finest sipping rum, stems from La Central, a new restaurant located right in the heart of the Caribbean. It’s the best way to make National Cigar Day a sacred ritual.
Rum and Tobacco

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz. Ron del Barrilito Three Stars
- 1/4 oz. tobacco syrup
- Dashes of Angostura bitters
- Smoke with amaretto and tobacco
Preparation: Pour all the ingredients into a mixing glass, add the Ron del Barrilito three stars, the tobacco syrup. Stir for 10 seconds. Strain ingredients into an Old-Fashioned glass with ice. Garnish with dashes of Angostura bitters. Let sit for 1-2 minutes, or until the cocktail is well smoked with amaretto and tobacco.
