There is nothing sweeter than a juicy watermelon in the summertime. If you are a fan of the red fruit, you’ll want to try some of these watermelon cocktails.

Spiked Agua Fresca

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz. Lobos 1707, Tequila Joven
- 1 oz. fresh watermelon Juice
- 1 oz. fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz. agave nectar
Glass: Rocks
Garnish: Cucumber floating inside the glass/sprig of basil
Preparation: Add all ingredients into a shaker, add ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice and garnish.
Watermelon Julep
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. HI-CHEW Watermelon-Infused Bourbon**
- 1 tsp. Sugar
- 1⁄4 cup Fresh Mint Leaves
Preparation: In a cocktail shaker, gently muddle the sugar and mint to release the oils in the mint leaves. Pour in the bourbon, shake with ice, and strain over pebble ice in a julep cup. Garnish with a large bouquet of fresh mint and serve with a metal julep straw. **INFUSIONS: The infusion ratio is one piece of candy per ounce of liquor. Cut the candy into pieces and soak until dissolved.
Casual Affair
Cocktail from Sola Pasta Bar (Soho)
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Vodka
- 1/2 oz. Yuzu Juice
- 1 oz. Fresh Watermelon Pureé
- 1/2 oz. Thai Basil
Preparation: Shake and pour over ice; top with Club Soda. Glass: Tall Collins Glass
Spicy Cucumber Watermelon Margarita
Cocktail from: Hermanito, West LA
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz. Jalapeño/Cucumber Infused Mezcal
- 2 oz. Watermelon Juice
- 3/4 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
- 1/2 oz. Agave
Preparation: Combined all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and fine strain over ice in a rocks glass garnished with a Tajin rim and watermelon slice.
