Mr Black Cold Brew Liqueur is a bold, bittersweet blend of top-grade Arabica coffee and Australian wheat vodka that has just the right amount of sweetness. In the past few years, it has become the cocktail coffee of choice for the world’s best bars, restaurants and shops. We love it mixed in drinks or sipped on the rocks after a big meal.

This week, we’re drinking a bold, stirred sipper that’s sure to add a zing to your next cocktail hour. The Black Magic is a twist on the Cyn Cyn made with mezcal, Cynar, sweet vermouth and Mr Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur. This drink gets some smoke from the mezcal and a smooth, bitter profile from the vermouth and Cynar. Mr Black adds a rich, bold flavor that makes this complex cocktail a winning libation choice for the season.

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz. Mr Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur
  • 1 oz. Cynar
  • 1 oz. Mezcal
  • .5 oz. Sweet Vermouth
  • Orange Twist (to Garnish)

Preparation: Add all liquid ingredients to a mixing glass with ice. Stir and strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Garnish with an orange twist.
