
Vodka Baie Rose
Cocktail by Joseph Hilton
Ingredients:
1 oz Deep Eddy Lemon
0.5 oz of Luxardo Maraschino liquor (clear)
0.75 oz of fresh lemon juice
1 oz of pink peppercorn simple syrup (with peppercorns)
1 oz of Sofia Rose
Preparation:
Peppercorn Syrup – ADD 1 cup of pink peppercorns to 1.5 cups of water. Place over low heat and allow to steep for 10 minutes. Turn heat up and allow to simmer until reduced to about 1 cup of liquid. Once reduced turn heat off add 5-10 fresh rosemary leaves and 1 (3) inch piece of fresh thyme. Pull the pot off of the heating surface and add 1 cup of sugar and mix until dissolved.
Drink- Add 1 oz of Deep Eddy lemon Vodka, 0.5 oz of Luxardo maraschino Liqour, 0.75 oz of fresh lemon juice, and 1 oz of peppercorn syrup with the actual peppercorns. Add ice and hard shake for 15-20 seconds double strain and top with 1 oz of sparkling Rose (Sofia is what I used).
Garnish:
Dehydrated lemon, 5 pink peppercorns and 5 individual rosemary leaves

I wanted to create a drink dedicated to women, something uniquely balanced yet feminine. This is an Ode to my 3 older sisters, mother, and grandmother, who all helped influence me to the person I am today.
