White Linen Suit
Ingredients
- 1 oz Broken Shed Vodka
- 1 oz cinnamon apple-infused simple syrup*
- 1 dash grapefruit bitters
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- 2 oz fresh grapefruit juice
- 3 oz club soda
- Garnish: 1 grapefruit wedge
Preparation
- Short shake everything (except the club soda) with 3 ice cubes, then double strain into a glass filled with ice.
- Top with club soda and a grapefruit wedge.
Cinnamon Apple Infused Simple Syrup
Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 2 whole apples
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
Preparation
- Add the water, apples, and cinnamon to a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Simmer for 10 minutes, then strain the liquid through a fine mesh sieve.
- Bring the water back to a boil, add sugar, and stir until dissolved.
- Allow to cool, then store in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
