5 Essential Cocktails for February

based on our National Drink Day Calendar. Don’t forget to reference it so you can prepare for the upcoming holidays. 

We are officially one month into 2022! As we start transitioning out of the colder winter months, you may want to spruce up your bar menu and add a few drinks that correlate with this month’s drink days. Using these days is a great way to get out of your cocktail rut and give something else a try!

February 1 marks National Dark Chocolate Day, and you know we have something for those sweet tooths! This warm, chocolate cocktail will be just the thing for those cold nights. The recipe calls for a few simple ingredients that you probably already have on hand!

  

 

Pisco Punch

Celebrate National Pisco Sour Day (2/5) with this classic cocktail recipe. If you’re in the mood for a fruity cocktail this month, this is perfect for you! The combination of pineapple and lime will transport you to a tropical oasis.

 

 

Sugar & Spice Margarita

Super Bowl Sunday (2/13) means bars are packed with football fans who need drinks. If you are looking to add a new cocktail to your menu in support of the sport, this one is a must. Big batch cocktails are perfect for days like this. Give this lime and pomegranate margarita a try.

 

 

Rita Margarita

National Margarita Day (2/22) means it’s time to break out the tequila. This refreshing cocktail has a minor twist on a classic. The use of the orange agave syrup gives it the right amount of sweetness that this lime-forward drink needs. A pro tip: this syrup is sustainable and has a long shelf life.! Beverage Director Adam Miller says, “All you’re doing is diluting a high-quality, 100%-agave syrup with some water and then bleeding the orange essence into it.” 

 

 

The Ginger Martini

World Bartender Day is definitely celebrated over here! If you aren’t familiar, World Bartender Day is on February 24, which means it’s the perfect time to give the bartenders in your life some love! Chilled 100 member, Lefty Goumas, made this twist on a classic martini. This day is the opportunity to let your bartenders be as creative as they please.
