Summer spritz season gets a Southern twist with our Drink of the Week featuring Four Roses Bourbon. The Southern Spritz balances bright strawberry flavor, bittersweet Campari, and crisp bubbles for a cocktail that’s light, vibrant, and made for warm-weather sipping.
Easy to build and endlessly refreshing, it’s the perfect porch drink for long summer afternoons and golden hour gatherings alike.
Made with Four Roses Bourbon, Summer is “spritz” season and the time to enjoy something light, iced, and refreshing. Taste this Southern Spritz and it will become your go-to cocktail to cool down all summer long.
Preparation
- Combine all ingredients into a wine glass.
- Add ice and top with soda water.
- Stir to incorporate.
- Garnish.
- Strawberry syrup: Combine equal parts destemmed, sliced strawberries to water and granulated sugar.
- Heat in a saucepan to a simmer.
- Let simmer for ten minutes.
- Allow to cool, strain.
