Bob Peters to Lead Spirits Scene for Kinship Lounge and The Punch Room

National award-winning mixologist and Chilled 100 member, Bob Peters, creator and director of the acclaimed beverage experience at The Punch Room, is taking on new responsibilities for The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte.
In his unprecedented new role as Creative Director of Bar Operations, Peters will continue to man the bar at The Punch Room, while also overseeing the recently-introduced cocktail scene at Kinship Lounge, located on the lobby level of the hotel.
Bob Peters and The Punch Room have helped raise the bar for spirits and upscale nightlife in the city, with Peters’ lively personality, creativity, technical expertise and Instagram prowess all contributing to the accolades garnered by The Punch Room since its 2015 opening.
With a dramatically different beverage offering now also available at Kinship Lounge, Peters will lend his talents to that equally sophisticated location, with a focus on shared libations, flask service, and smoked and artisanal cocktails.

In addition to overseeing cocktail and spirits menus, beverage presentation and the overall vibe of both Kinship and The Punch Room, Peters will maintain his current commitments to the local consumer and food and beverage communities, with a sustained focus on the local sourcing of ingredients and environmentally mindful vendor/partners. He will also launch a new series of cocktail classes for the public this summer.
