Event Recap: Ron Barcelo Debuts Summer Cocktails at Broken Shaker NYC

Industry notables, rum lovers, and lifestyle influencers gathered to celebrate Ron Barceló’s highly anticipated summer cocktails debut at New York’s newest rooftop hotspot, the Broken Shaker.

The New York skyline and the rooftop’s modern tropical vibes served as the backdrop for an exclusive first taste of the refreshing Lulove, made with Barcelo Gran Platinum, lime juice and lulo syrup, and the sweet and sour Que Lo Que, mixing Barcelo Gran Añejo, passion fruit liquor, lime juice and angostura bitters. Guests paired each cocktail with delicious bites of Arepitas, Cuban Sliders, Chicken Schnitzel Sliders, Shrimp Cocktail, and Daily Catch Ceviche, as lounge beats entertained.

Notables in attendance included Sean Scottini, Glenmore May, Mumzie Franklin, Christina O, and Marc Henry, to name a few. The evening concluded with attendees taking home a Barcelo kit to allow them to recreate their favorite cocktails through the season.
