Sweet, Flavored & Creamy
Kahlúa Dunkin Caramel Swirl
Overall Score: 92
Kahlúa Dunkin Caramel Swirl is a dessert-forward coffee liqueur built on rich caramel, roasted coffee, and creamy sweetness. Judging highlighted its smooth, perfectly balanced entry and layered coffee-chocolate profile, with a medium, well-structured mouthfeel that carries through a clean, moderately long finish. The alcohol integration was noted as especially seamless, allowing the sweetness and spirit to feel fully harmonized rather than separate elements. Overall, it was recognized as a highly versatile expression that works well in espresso martinis, whiskey cocktails, or simple over-ice serves with cream.
Malibu Pink
Overall Score: 88
Malibu Pink is a vibrant, fruit-forward coconut rum with a playful profile built around strawberry, watermelon, dragonfruit, and soft tropical sweetness. Judges highlighted its bright aromatics and candy-like nose, followed by a smooth, lightly textured palate that stays easy and approachable throughout. The finish is soft and lingering, with coconut emerging at the end to round out the fruit-driven profile. It was also noted for strong mixability, making it especially well suited for simple, summery cocktails where sweetness and fruit character lead the build.
Crisp, Bright & Mixable
Espero Blanco Tequila
Overall Score: 88
Espero Blanco is a clean, agave-forward tequila with a light, mineral-driven profile built for mixing. Judges noted soft vegetal aromas on the nose and an earthy, slightly mineral entry on the palate, followed by a smooth, light texture throughout. The finish is short and crisp, leaning into a subtle earthy note that keeps the profile grounded. While the flavor structure is relatively simple, it was highlighted for strong mixability and cocktail versatility, making it a reliable base for easy, spirit-forward serves where the tequila supports rather than dominates.
Avión Silver
Overall Score: 90
Avión Silver is a crisp, agave-forward tequila with a clean profile and noticeable character from the first sip. Judges highlighted strong agave and lime-driven aromatics, followed by a layered entry with subtle sweetness and a gentle bite. The texture is smooth with a slight chalky feel and a slow-building heat that carries through the palate. A long, lingering finish adds a light kick and subtle smoke note, giving it more depth than expected for the category. Overall, it was recognized for its complexity and strong mixability, particularly in margaritas and other tequila-based cocktails where structure and agave presence matter.
Smoky, Aged & Spirit-Forward
Ojo de Tigre Mezcal Artesanal
Overall Score: 91
Ojo de Tigre Mezcal Artesanal is a smoky, fruit-driven mezcal that balances traditional earthiness with an unexpectedly soft, approachable profile. Judges noted aromas of smoke, earth, and subtle tropical fruit, with a palate that opens gently rather than aggressively, allowing notes of pineapple and light sweetness to come forward. The texture is smooth and lightly oily, carrying through a well-integrated mix of smoke, heat, and fruit. A long, rounded finish reinforces its balance and versatility, making it equally suited for sipping or mixing in smoky, spirit-forward cocktails.
Martell Blue Swift
Overall Score: 90
Martell Blue Swift is a rich, oak-influenced expression that bridges Cognac character with the warmth and depth of bourbon cask finishing. Judges highlighted an aromatic profile of roasted nuts, honeyed fruit, and toasted marshmallow, leading into a bold, oaky palate with sweet, nutty undertones and a classic brandy structure. The texture is smooth with a warm, rounded feel that carries through a layered, highly complex profile. A clean, toasty finish reinforces its depth and versatility, making it equally suited for sipping neat or use in spirit-forward classic cocktails.
