
Hit Me With Your Best Shotta
Cocktail by Marie Yoshimizu
Ingredients:
1 ¼ oz Mezcal Espadin
1 oz Mango Shotta
¾ oz Curried Red Pepper Juice*
½ oz Fresh Lime Juice
A hand full of cilantro
Preparation:
*Curried Red Pepper Juice
Combine a barspoon of curry powder and 2 red peppers in a blender. Let it sit for a few hours. Strain with cheese cloth. (If there’s a juicer, use a juicer to juice 2 red peppers. Add a barspoon of red pepper juice and stir well.)
Cocktail recipe:
Combine everything in a shaker and shake well with ice.
Double strain into a chilled Nick & Nora or sour glassware.
Garnish with a cilantro leaf.

Booster Shotta

Ingredients:
¾ oz Mango Shotta
¾ oz Strawberry infused Fernet-Branca**
½ oz Fresh Lime Juice
Preparation:
**Strawberry infused Fernet-Branca
Cut the top off of strawberries. Combine ¼ cup (or 50g) of diced strawberries and 250ml of Fernet-Branca, and let it infuse for at least 24 hours in the fridge. Strain the diced strawberries.
