Fireside Sippers

The holidays have ended and it’s time to batten down the hatches. Although that thermometer mercury may not have dipped too low in some parts yet, it’s coming. It always does! Be ready for the chill of winter with some warming cocktails to sip by the fire and stay warm. Don’t worry. Spring will be here before you know it!
Mulled Wine

Ingredients:
- 1 bottle of Red Wine (such as HobNob’s Wicked Red)
- 1/2 cup Cognac
- 3 Whole Cloves
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 2 Cinnamon Sticks
- 1 tsp. Nutmeg
- 1 Orange and 1 Lemon
Preparation: Combine the ingredients in a sauce pan and simmer for 25 minutes. Let it sit overnight if possible (in the refrigerator is fine). Strain out the fruits and other non-drinkable ingredients and serve warm in glass mugs.
Café Cinnabourbon

Ingredients:
- 1 oz. Bourbon Whiskey
- 1/2 oz. Cinnamon Liqueur
- 1 NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Skinny Latte Macchiato
Preparation: Add the first two ingredients to a mug and stir lightly. Brew one NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Skinny Latte Macchiato over the mixture. Stir lightly, dust with cinnamon and toast to coziness in liquid form.
Cinnamon Bun-derful

Ingredients:
- 8 oz. NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto coffee, brewed
- 1 oz. Cinnamon Syrup (homemade or store-bought)
- 2-3 tbsp. Coffee-mate French Vanilla
- 2 oz. Cinnamon Schnapps
Preparation: Rim a coffee mug or heat-proof glass with vanilla frosting. Add hot coffee and remaining ingredients. Stir and serve.
Hot Frenchman’s Punch

Ingredients:
- 1 Shot G’Vine Nouaison
- 1 3/4 shots Sweet, Dark Red Wine/Madeira
- 2 shots Hot Water
- 1 bar spoon Honey
- 1 bar spoon Brown Sugar
- 1/2 shot Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
- Half a Grated Cinnamon Stick
- One Sprig of Coriander
- One “Grate” of Fresh Nutmeg
- One “Nail” of Ginger
Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass or teapot and allow to steep for approximately three minutes. Pour out through a tea-strainer and into the glass. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
Partida Mexican Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Partida Añejo
- 1 pkt. Hot Chocolate
- Cayenne Pepper
- Grated Cinnamon
- Nutmeg for garnish
Preparation: In a pot add your favorite chocolate powder mix and full cream milk. Stir and bring to a hot simmer. Add small pinches of Cayenne Pepper and Grated Cinnamon to taste. Add hot chocolate to your favorite mug with the addition of 2 ounces of Partida Añejo and grate a little Nutmeg over the top.
Calvados Hot Toddy
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Calvados Boulard VSOP
- 6 oz. Hot Apple Cider
- 2 tsp. Honey
- 1 tbsp. Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 1 tbsp. Cloves
Preparation: Combine honey, lemon juice and Calvados in a mug. Stir to combine. Heat cider to near boil over stove and pour over the other ingredients, stirring well to dissolve honey. Garnish with cloves and cinnamon stick.
