Late Nights, Early Mornings

Ingredients:

1oz Deep Eddy Lime Vodka

.5oz Tequila Ocho Plata

.5oz Pama Liqueur

.75 Yellow Energy Drink Syrup

1.5oz Sparkling Mineral Water(I used Topo Chico)

Preparation:

Add Vodka, Tequila, Pama, and syrup to shaker tin. Shake to correct dilution. Strain into Collins glass with large cube and Sparkling Mineral Water bottom. Garnish with your favorite breakfast cereal in bamboo cone with clothespin.

Yellow Energy Drink Syrup: 24oz Yellow Red Bull, 8oz Water, and 1000g Granulated Sugar added to small saucepan. Bring up to boil then simmer to correct reduction. Approximately 10-15 minutes. Put into container. Store refrigerated

Favorite Breakfast Cereal(I used Cinnamon Toast Crunch)

Glassware:

Collins(large rectangular ice)

Cocktail Inspiration:

This cocktail was inspired by my days as a corporate trainer for a national chain. We spent many days working our butts off training for two weeks straight. Being out in a new town we were also burning the candle at both ends. So we stayed out late and rose early to do it all again. There were many nights with Deep Eddy and many mornings filled with energy drinks and carbs.
