Acid Bath
Cocktail by Michael Merrill
Ingredients:
2 oz Deep Eddy Lime Vodka
1 oz Banana Peel Oleo
1/4 oz Lime Juice
4 Large Basil Leaves
1 Dash Fee Brothers Lime Bitters
Preparation:
Shake all ingredients and double strain.
Garnish:
Basil Leaf and “vortex” banana peel ice cube.
Glassware:
Straight-walled old fashioned glass.
Cocktail Inspiration:
Years ago my partner made me a surprise Valentine’s Day dinner. One of the dishes called for Banana Basil Relish, the core flavor notes of which were bananas, basil and lime. I’ve been a fan of this flavor combination ever since.
