Smoky Aztec

Ingredients
- 2 oz. Vanilla Bourbon
- 1 oz. Spicy Honey Syrup*
- 2 dashes Chocolate Bitters
- ¾ oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
- Glassware and Garnish: Coupe & Hot Honey Tajin
- Clásico Rim
Preparation
- Prepare the rim: Brush a stroke of spicy honey on the rim of a rocks glass, then carefully scoop Tajín Clásico to glass.
- In a mixing glass, combine the Edmonds Honor, spicy honey syrup, chocolate bitters, and lemon juice.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice.
- Stir well for 20-30 seconds until thoroughly chilled.
- Strain the cocktail into the prepared rocks glass filled with fresh ice
*Spicy Honey Syrup
Ingredients
- honey
- water
- chilies
Preparation
- Combine honey, water, and chilies in a small saucepan.
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the honey is dissolved.
- Reduce heat and let simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until the syrup has thickened slightly and the chili flavor has infused.
- Remove from heat and let cool completely.
- Strain out the chilies.
