Preparation
- Add all of the ingredients to a shaker tin without ice.
- Add ice and shake for 8 seconds.
- Double strain cocktail into glass over fresh ice (preferably crushed.).
- Garnish and enjoy.
Almond Orgeat*
Ingredients
- 250 g blanched almonds
- 600 ml hot water
- Amount Varies fine sugar
- 1tsp orange flower water
Preparation
- Soak the almonds in water for 3 hours.
- Strain the almonds through a fine mesh strainer.
- Add the almonds to a blender and combine with 600ml of hot water, blend until well broken down.
- Strain the mixture through a cheesecloth, resulting in an "almond milk."
- Place the almond milk, sugar (equal to the volume of resulting almond milk) and orange flower water into a pot. Cook at low heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is fully incorporated.
- Cool at room temperature, then date, label and refridgerate.
