CHILLED: Tell us about the projects you are working on.

Kea Ho: I have a new movie “Urge” starring Pierce Brosnan and Ashley Greene that is in theaters and on demand now. It’s a really cool, stylish thriller. I also have a fun comedy starring Chris D’elia, Hannibal Buress and Ray Liotta in theaters this fall that has a great up-and-coming comedy cast. And I’ve just been cast as the lead in a new thriller that I’m really excited about and have been getting ready for.

CHILLED:With your busy schedule, what do you like to do with your down time?

KH: I do a lot of yoga to decompress. Living in New York can be really hectic so it’s nice to do something to actively relax. I like to spend time with family and friends and my puppy Bleecker.

CHILLED:When you go out to eat, where do you like to dine?

KH: There are so many amazing restaurants in the city so it’s hard to choose. One of my favorites is Tartine. It’s my neighborhood spot. Carbone for amazing Italian. Cafe Gitane at the Jane Hotel for brunch. Blue Ribbon Sushi on Sullivan is an old standby and Employee’s Only has great late night food and drinks.

CHILLED:What types of dishes do you usually order?

KH: I like my veggies and fresh fish.

CHILLED:Do you cook?

KH: I can cook but I really love to bake for special occasions. I make really good desserts. My specialty is my lemon cake.

CHILLED:What types of drinks do you order when out?

KH: I don’t drink very often but if I do vodka pineapple is my drink of choice or a nice white wine.

CHILLED:Do you prepare drinks at home?

KH: If friends are over for sure!

CHILLED:What is your home bar stocked with?

KH: I have a lot of bottles of really nice red wines for company. The bar is pretty fully stocked with all the usual stuff. I do have some nice bottles like Clase Azul tequila and champagne on standby for celebrations.

CHILLED:What is your favorite cocktail?

KH: I’m from Hawaii so my favorite is a frosty Pina Colada on the beach.

CHILLED:Have you ever been a bartender?

KH: No but it’s a great skill to have!
