Chilled Cocoa Bitters Competition

The following are the terms and conditions to enter the Chilled Cocoa Bitters Competition:

 

 

DRINK CRITERIA

1. Create a cocktail featuring ANGOSTURA Cocoa Bitters
2. The recipe must be an original recipe that has NOT been entered into any other drink recipe competitions
3. The cocktail must contain at least 5 dashes of ANGOSTURA Cocoa Bitters
4. All ingredients must be expressed in ounces, drops or dashes

TO ENTER

A clear photo OR video must be posted on Instagram by the deadlines listed below:

• Chicago Deadline: 11/27/2020
• Charlotte Deadline: 11/27/2020
• Nashville Deadline: 12/09/2020
• Austin Deadline: 12/10/2020
• Miami Deadline: 12/15/2020
• Denver Deadline: 12/17/2020
• New York Deadline: 12/17/2020

 

Your Instagram post must contain the following criteria

• You must use the hashtag: #ChilledCocoaContest
• You must tag @Angosturahouse AND @Chilledmagazine ON the photo 
• You must include your city in the caption OR location of the post

*Please make sure that your account is public so that your entry can be viewed

Vieux Carrè

SCORING

• Name of Cocktail – 10 Points
• Appearance/Photo – 25 Points
• Aroma, Flavor, Taste – 30 Points
• Use of Angostura Cocoa Bitters – 10 Points
• Creativity – 25 Points
  • Total: 100 Points Possible

*Posts that include the ANGOSTURA Cocoa Bitter’s bottle and cocktail names that include the mention of ANGOSTURA Cocoa Bitters will be given higher consideration.

JUDGING/TIMING

• The competition will be judged by North American Angostura Brand Ambassador, Chad Lawrence and Chilled 100 Director, Wendy Hodges
• Please allow two (2) weeks after submission deadline for judging and results to be announced
• Semi-finalists will be notified and awarded prize within 30 days of their city’s submissions deadline

PRIZES 

• One (1) semi-finalist will be selected for each of the seven (7) events
  • Each of the seven (7) semi-finalists will receive a prize of $ 500
• One (1) Overall winner will be selected from the seven (7) market semi-finalists
  • The overall winner will receive an additional prize of $ 1,000
