Kim Crawford Releases 2013 Collection
By Chilled Magazine
Already praised as New Zealand’s “Vintage of a Lifetime,” Kim Crawford has released its collection of 2013 white wines just in time for spring and summer enjoyment. New Zealand, and Kim Crawford, are known for their Sauvignon Blanc but many consumers are unaware that the winery also produces noteworthy Unoaked Chardonnay and Pinot Gris wines, making these Kiwi wines a great conversation starter.
2013 Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc (SRP $18.99)
– Expressive with notes of zesty fruit flavors and balanced acidity, this wine is excellent to enjoy on its own or to pair with fresh oysters, lobster or a colorful summer salad
2013 Kim Crawford Unoaked Chardonnay (SRP $17.99)
– Approachable yet full bodied, this wine is well-rounded due to a nuttiness developed during secondary fermentation, pairing perfectly with salmon or seasoned grilled chicken
2013 Kim Crawford Core Pinot Gris (SRP $17.99)
– Refreshing and crisp, this wine is a fantastic selection to pair with mixed antipasti platter or light, freshly caught seafood
