Now the nation’s leader and innovator in wine brings the country the newest entertaining experience for the wine curious—it is called Wine Battles.

Wine Battles is a tournament-style game where you get an education and a buzz! Members are shipped bottles that are of the same varietal, they judge the wine, plug their results online, then (like a March Madness bracket) the nation votes and the winning wines compete to the finals. Members develop their own palate profile and become more knowledgeable wine enthusiasts.

Battlers have the rare opportunity to interact with wine merchants and fellow wine lovers on Wine Battles’ exclusive social networking platform while exploring new wines and developing their tasting profiles.

Wine Battles is a tournament-style social wine game where you drink the nation’s most revered wines to become a more knowledgeable wine enthusiast.

During a battle, members receive two naturally contrasting bottles of the same varietal of wine. By tasting then voting online, members decide which wine should advance to the next round. Members open, decant and rate the two wines using the four-construct system outlined in the Battle Guide – the scores come in real time and members are encouraged to share their findings. The wines compete in a peer to peer bracketed competition, until one wine emerges victorious.
