Tullamore D.E.W. Makes World’s Largest Irish Coffee

For National Irish Coffee Day on January 25th, Tullamore D.E.W.’s National Brand Ambassador, Tim Herlihy was determined to raise the stakes in attempting to set the Guinness World Record for the World’s Largest Irish Coffee in Chicago.

The 234-gallon cocktail utilized the original recipe of its venerable creator – Buena Vista Café’s – and used 162 1L bottles of Tullamore D.E.W. Tim has become quite the expert in Irish pubs after setting off on the “Ultimate Irish Pub Tour” early last year. Tim visited all 50 states in the 30 days leading up to St. Patrick’s Day and indulged in nearly as many Irish Coffees – finding all of the best spots to enjoy the warm Irish cocktail.
