By Chilled Magazine

“I am incredibly excited to see these wines heading out into the market,” say’s Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Eric Guerra. [pullquote_left]It has been an exciting project from the beginning and the response from the trade has been overwhelmingly positive. The innovative label design immediately grabs their attention and the quality of the wine, seals the deal. It is a winning combination!“[/pullquote_left]
The wine is made at Terravant by up-and-coming winemaking team Anna Clifford, Travis Proctor and Roxie Ward. Anna is a graduate of UC Davis and spent the first the years of her career in various wineries of Napa Valley and Sonoma County, including stints as Assistant Winemaker at Atlas Peak and Buena Vista.
The first of its kind, Spin the Bottle’s innovative lenticular label design has already won a Gold medal at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. The label is designed so that as the consumer walks past the wine on the shelf they are treated to the image of a bottle spinning with-in it. A tip of the hat to the past as it reminds us of our youth and makes us smile. What is in the bottle will make you smile too.
Spin the Bottle wines have released a 2011 Chardonnay, 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon and a 2010 Red Blend that will be available nationally at an impressive list of national chain stores and wine retailers for a
suggested retail price of $11.99.
