Recap: The Diageo Dogg House at Tales of the Cocktail

On Friday, July 21st, 2017, Diageo hosted a once-in-a-lifetime party with entertainment and hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg at the Contemporary Arts Center during Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans.
It was a night of great cocktails, unforgettable music and a live performance of the Doggfather’s greatest hits.
Cocktails served up during the night were from Bulleit Bourbon to Tequila Don Julio and Ketel One Vodka, all by Diageo World Class bartenders.
Here is a selection of cocktail recipes served at The Dogg House.
Tanqueray No. TEN Green Machine
Ingredients:
- 1 oz. Tanqueray No. TEN
- 1/2 oz. Pineapple Juice
- 1/2 oz. Green Apple Juice
- 1/4 oz. Cucumber Cilantro Juice
- 1/4 oz. Agave
- Lemon Wedge for Garnish
Preparation: Combine Tanqueray No. TEN, pineapple juice, green apple juice, cucumber cilantro juice, and agave into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain contents into a rocks glass with ice. Garnish with lemon wedge.
Don Julio Cool Aid
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz. Tequila Don Julio Reposado
- 3/4 oz. Pink Port
- 3/4 oz. Grapefruit Juice
- 1/2 oz. Tarragon-Infused Agave
Preparation: Combine Tequila Don Julio Reposado, Pink Port, grapefruit, and tarragon agave into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain contents into a pouch.
Calvin’s Black Tea Punch
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz. Johnnie Walker Black Label
- 1/4 oz. Tanqueray No. TEN
- 2 oz. Black Tea
- 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
- 1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
- 1/4 Grapefruit
- Grapefruit Wheel for Garnish
Preparation: Combine Johnnie Walker Black Label, Tanqueray No. TEN, black tea, simple syrup, lemon juice and grapefruit juice into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain contents into a rocks glass with ice. Garnish with grapefruit wheel.
Blazin’ Pineapple
Ingredients:
- 3/4 oz. Crown Royal Vanilla Whiskey
- 1/4 oz. Pineapple Juice
- 1 dash Lemon
- 1 dash Angostura Bitters
Preparation: Combine Crown Royal Vanilla Whiskey, pineapple juice, lemon juice, and Angostura Bitters into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain contents into a shot glass.
Sagacious Buck
Ingredients:
- 1 oz. George Dickel No. 12
- 1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
- 1/2 oz. Blackberry Puree Syrup
- 1 oz. Ginger Beer
- Blackberries for Garnish
Preparation: Combine George Dickel No. 12, lemon juice, blackberry puree syrup, and ginger beer into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain contents into a Dickel Tin. Garnish with blackberries.
