Ventisquero Sauvignon Blanc 2012
Appellation: Casablanca Valley
Varietal: 100% Sauvignon Blanc
SRP: $12.99
Tasting notes: Pale yellow in color with light green hints, the complex and elegant nose offers up aromas of lime, grapefruit, pineapple and pear complemented by floral and mineral touches. In the mouth it is elegant, with crisp acidity that is typical for this variety. On the palate, more citrus and tropical fruit are evident, with an interesting minerality. Delicious as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to salads, shellfish, crevice, fish, white meats and fresh cheeses.
Ventisquero Pinot Noir 2011
Appellation: Casablanca Valley
Varietal: 100% Pinot Noir
SRP: $12.99
Tasting notes: Deep, cherry-red in color, the nose offers an elegant bouquet of strawberry and cherry enhanced by soft vanilla notes imparted by barrel aging. In the mouth, it is fresh with balanced acidity and soft tannins. The clean finish is reminiscent of fresh fruit, vanilla and spice. Enjoy this with semi-mature cheeses, game birds, white meats, fish and pasta.
