Seven Deadly LeSins Part 7 – LeSin Gives Back To Bartenders

Introducing part seven of the Seven Deadly LeSins – Vanity with LeSin Vodka.

This seven-part series will bring you 14 totally unique recipes brought together by Chilled 100 Ambassadors and the LeSin team.

LeSin Vodka teamed up with the Chilled 100 to get creative and give back to bartenders with their Seven Deadly LeSins cocktail program. The brand put together a program to not only put much-needed funds directly in the hands of bartenders, but to create unique recipes for both professionals and home enthusiasts to try.

Charles Vaughn, Founder of LeSin, explained, “We challenged the talented LeSin teams and Chilled 100 Ambassadors to create something new and amazing that you can look forward to when the world re-opens (and it will), and also something sure to impress your friends when you entertain at home during these different times. We felt this LEVEL UP was something in between on-premise and off-premise, so we called it HOME-PREMISE.”

Vaughn added that the program was about how to do more than just make a cocktail; it was about finding a way to infuse each recipe with energy. After all, when you go out for a night of drinking, there’s so much more to the experience than just what you’re drinking.

Bartender Keith Bracwell was challenged to create a cocktail inspired by the theme of Vanity and the color Purple.

Fatal Attraction

Fatal Attraction (Level Up)

Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 oz. LeSin Vodka
• 1/2 oz. Giffard Fruit de la Passion
• 1/2 oz. La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Extra Dry
• 3/4 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
• 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
• 1 Egg White
• 3 Droppers Full of Butterfly Pea Flower Extract
• Gold Flake
• Gold Dust
• Edible White Flower/Rose Petal

Preparation: Rim a Collins glass with the gold leaf and brush the gold dust lightly over the desired edible flower. Mix the LeSin vodka, Passion Fruit Liquor, Vermouth, lemon and simple syrup in a shaker tin. Add an egg white from a fresh egg and discard the yolk. Add ice to the shaker tin and the Collins glass and reverse dry shake the ingredients. Fine strain half of the cocktail into the Collins glass. Remove the ice from the shaker tin, add the butterfly pea flower extract and dry shake the ingredients. Fine strain the rest of the purple foam over the cocktail. Garnish with the gold embellished edible flower.

Femme Fatal

Femme Fatale (Home Premise)

Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 oz. LeSin Vodka
• 1/2 oz. Giffard Fruit de la Passion
• 1/2 oz. Dry Vermouth
• 3/4 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
• 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
• 1 Egg White
• 3 Droppers Full Food Coloring
• Edible flower/rose petal

Preparation: Mix the LeSin Vodka, Passion Fruit Liquor, Vermouth, lemon, simple syrup and the Butterfly Pea Flower extract in a shaker tin. Add an egg white from a fresh egg and discard the yoke. Add ice to the shaker tin and to any glass and shake the ingredients. Strain the ingredients into the iced glass. Garnish with an edible flower/rose petal.
