Daniele’s Signature Cocktail

  • 3 parts Bacardi Superior
  • 2 parts Bacardi gold
  • 1 part Homemade Falernum*
  • 2 parts Lime juice
  • 1 part Cointreau
  • 2 parts Fresh pineapple juice
  • 2 dashes Tiki Puki Puki Bitter (homemade)

Preparation: Shake all the ingredients for 15 second with crushed ice Double strain in a perfume bottle (make a nice label) Serve in a tray with 2 vintage cocktail glass

* Homemade Falernum

  • 6 oz Wray & Nephew Overproof Rum or Bacardi 151 3 oz (by weight) minced or shredded ginger Zest of 9 limes
  • 40 whole cloves
  • 6 oz (by weight) almond paste
  • 1/2 tsp Almond Extract

Preparation: Combine the above ingredients in a jar or bottle and let sit for 24 hours. After strain the contents of the jar through cheesecloth making sure to squeeze all liquid out of the solid ingredients. Then add 14 oz Simple Syrup and 3oz Fresh Lime Juice. Shake the mixture very hard until everything is mixed and you have a yellow and green mixture.
