Kentucky Derby Cocktails

To commemorate the 139th Kentucky Derby, Jim Beam®, Kentucky’s oldest bourbon, has launched Distiller’s Masterpiece – a limited edition bourbon only available at the Jim Beam American Stillhouse in Clermont, Kentucky just 30 minutes outside of Louisville.
If you can’t make it to Louisville, here are a couple of cocktail recipes to enjoy while watching the most exciting two minutes in sports.
Jacob’s Triple Crown

Ingredients
- 1 part Jacob’s Ghost™ White Whiskey
- Mint leaves
- ¼ part Lemon juice
- Molasses to taste
- Pinch of cane sugar
Preparation
In a collins glass, dissolve the sugar in a splash of water. Fill the glass with crushed ice and add Jacob’s Ghost™ White Whiskey. Stir in all remaining contents until the glass becomes frosty, adding more ice if necessary. (Don’t hold the glass in your hand while stirring.) Garnish the glass with sprigs of mint.
Revolutionary’s Julep
Ingredients
- 1 part Jim Beam White®
- ½ part Simple Syrup
- Muddled mint
Preparation
Fill the glass with crushed ice. Garnish the glass with sprigs of mint.
