Poor Mans Lip Plumper

Ingredients:
1.5oz Grapefruit Deep Eddy Vodka
.75oz Wahaka Mezcal
.5oz Ghost Pepper Hot Honey
.5oz lime juice
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
5 dashes Saline
Garnish : Pink Glitter Simple Syrup Rim
Preparation:
Drink: Combine all ingredients into a shaker tin, add ice and shake for 30 seconds or until all combined. Rim glass with pink glitter simple syrup. Pour from shaker into glass. Serve.
Glitter Simple Syrup: 4:1 ratio white sugar to water, combine over low heat, cool. Add pink glitter.

I love a good Paloma in the summertime. Grapefruit is such a fun flavor when you find the right ingredients to mix it with. The ghost pepper hot honey almost leaves a numbing feeling on your lips which makes it unique, almost like a lip plumper. Which gave me idea for the “pink glitter simple syrup rim”. It is supposed to resemble lip gloss and along with a good Paloma, it isn’t summer without a good gloss!
