Monk Drop

Cocktail by Cullen Smith

Ingredients:

1 oz fresh lemon juice

1 oz fresh pineapple juice

1 oz Yellow Chartreuse (can substitute Strega if unavailable)

1 oz Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka

Preparation:

Add all ingredients into a shaker tin, add approximately 4 ice cubes. Whip shake until cold and frothy. Double strain into chilled Nick and Nora, garnish with an edible flower.

Garnish:

Edible flower (preferably a small magnolia)

Glassware:

Nick and Nora

Cocktail Inspiration:

If a lemon drop went on vacation. Tropical pineapple juice, herbal and sweet French Yellow Chartreuse, and Deep Eddy Lemon vodka’s almost lemoncello esq flavor. Designed equal parts to be made as an easy and delicious cocktail or easily made into shooters being able to scale the recipe on the fly to accommodate however many you need.
