Cocktail Inspiration:

When I saw this contest I knew I wanted to make a lemon based cocktail. The inspiration for this drink is my mother. She loves lemon just as much as I do, and she is my biggest supporter! Growing up, I watched a TV Series called, Little House on the Prairie. The characteristics and strength of the mother in this show resembles my mother to a tee. The mother in this show wears a specific perfume called Lemon Verbena, which is also the inspiration for the name of the cocktail. The fragrance has a strong lemon scent with notes of floral and citrus essence. This cocktail seems simple considering how it’s made, but the different flavors or lemon, pear and florals makes it a multi faceted cocktail. It’s an alcohol forward cocktail that is both light and refreshing.
