
Grapefruit Haze

Ingredients:
1 oz Deep Eddy Grapefruit
.5 oz Cazadorez Tequila
.5 Campari
1 oz Grapefruit Infused Simple Syrup
3 oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice
Preparation:
Infused grapefruit simple syrup- Peel two whole grapefruits and place in pot with 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water heat until boil. Strain with cheesecloth, then chill
Grapefruit sugar- Peel five grapefruits with potato like peeler. Place peels on grated sheet pan and bake at 350• for 10 hours. Place in salt grinder and grind into plate of sugar. Give a good mix.
Use Q-Tip dipped in lime juice and draw upside triangle filled in. Roll coupe into sugar mixture , place dehydrated grapefruit slice near sugared rim.
Pour all liquid ingredients into shaker tin, shake until frosty, strain into prepared coupe.
Lick, sip, enjoy 😉

I was inspired by a drink I created years ago. I worked at a fantastic restaurant with fantastic people. I wanted this drink to showcase my love for them.
