Cointreau Margarita Cocktails

The Original Margarita
- 2 oz. Blanco tequila
- 1 oz. Cointreau
- 1 oz. Lime juice
Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and add ice. Shake and strain into a Margarita glass. Garnish with a lime wheel and salt.
Smokey Margarita
- 1 oz. Anejo Tequila
- 1 oz. Mezcal
- 1 oz. Cointreau
- .75 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
Preparation: Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain over ice in a hickory smoked salt-rimmed rocks glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.
Margarita Fizz (makes 6.5 cocktails)
- 13 oz. Blanco Tequila
- 6.5 oz. Cointreau
- 5 oz. fresh lime juice, fine-strained
- 6.5 oz. filtered water
Preparation: Prepare batch in a large container and funnel into a siphon. Charge with CO2 and keep on ice or in a refrigerator. Serve over ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.
Luxe Margarita
- 1 oz Cointreau
- 1 oz. Blanco Tequila
- 1/2 oz. Lime juice
- Champagne (Float)
- 3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
Preparation: Shake Cointreau, tequila, and lime juice with ice and strain into a chilled flute. Top with Champagne and bitters. Garnish with a red rose petal.
Basil Margarita
- 1 1/2 oz. Blanco Tequila
- 1 oz. Cointreau
- 1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
- 1/2 oz. Lime Juice
- 3 basil Leaves
Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and add ice. Shake and strain over ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with basil and lemon wheel.
