Preparation
- In a mixing glass, add the sugar cube (or a teaspoon of sugar) and the bitters and muddle.
- Add the whisky and ice and stir until the sugar is dissolved for around one minute.
- Add the absinthe to a chilled rocks glass or coupe and rinse it around the sides, discarding any excess liquid.
- Pour the whisky mixture into the glass and garnish with a lemon twist.
