Sazerac

Ingredients

  • 2.5 oz - Rye Whiskey
  • .5 oz - Simple Syrup
  • 3-4 Dashes - Peychaud Bitters
  • Absinthe Rinse
  • Garnish: Lemon Peel
  • Glassware: Old Fashioned

Preparation

  1. Add all the ingredients into mixing glass without ice.
  2. Add ice and stir until chilled.
  3. Rinse the glass with absinthe.
  4. Strain the cocktail into the glass over no ice.
  5. Express the lemon peel oils over the glass, garnish and Enjoy!
