In A Storm

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Tawny Port
  • ¼ oz. Giffard Banane du Brésil liqueur
  • 1 dash Angostura Bitters 
  • 1 Whole Egg
  • 1 ½ oz. Porter Ale
  • Garnish: Freshly Grated Nutmeg and Angostura Bitters

Preparation

  1. Add the tawny port, banana liqueur, bitters, and egg to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Dry shake (without ice).
  3. Add ice and shake again, vigorously.
  4. Fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  5. Top with the porter and 2 to 3 dashes of bitters.
  6. Grate the nutmeg over the drink and serve.
