Brown Butter Whiskey Sour

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz. Brown Butter Bourbon*
  • 1 Egg White
  • 2 1/2 oz. of Sour Mix

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker and shake vigorously.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb of Salted Butter
  • 14 oz. Four Roses Bourbon

Preparation

  1. Add butter to a sauté pan and brown.
  2. Pour the browned butter into a container, and add the Four Roses Bourbon.
  3. Let the butter and bourbon sit in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
  4. Pull out of the refrigerator, and put into the freezer for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove from the freezer, and scoop out butter fat from the top of the container.
  6. Strain the bourbon through cheese cloth into a clean container twice, then it is ready to be served.
