Labor Day and the end of summer comes barreling towards us while we are still trying to figure out what happened to May.
Those long summer nights are fading fast and all we are left with are memories of “the summer of COVID” when we discovered a new way of doing just about everything.
Years from now you can scroll through your feed and remember when, but as a professional imbiber we believe there is nothing better than an empty bottle to bring back a good memory. Chandon’s limited edition 2020 American Summer Brut is just the ticket. The iconic California sparkling producer has been releasing a special red, white and blue American summer bottle for the past nine3 years. Available only from Independence Day through Labor Day, this year’s bottle design is a flurry of red, white and blue fireworks which adds an extra something seeing so many cities around the country canceled their 4th of July festivities.
Chandon American Summer Brut is bright and crisp made in traditional method from classic sparkling varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier and highlights Chandon’s signature profile of apple, pear, and citrus flavors. Making for the perfect summer distraction.
Pop it open and enjoy on its own or in a summer cocktail. Whichever way you choose make sure that you sign, date and put that bottle away somewhere safe. This way you’ll always have good memories of long summer days and warm evenings with a keepsake from this year’s American summer, and we are pretty sure it will become a collectible.
