Celebrate National Scotch Day with a Dewar’s Penicillin Cocktail

Celebrate National Scotch Day on Thursday, July 27th, 2017 with a Dewar’s Penicillin cocktail.
Dewar’s Penicillin
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Dewar’s 12 Whiskey
- 3⁄4 oz. Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
- 3⁄4 oz. Honey Syrup
- 1⁄4 oz. Craigellachie 13 Whiskey
- 3 quarter-size slices of Fresh Ginger
- Candied Ginger (for Garnish)
Preparation: Muddle fresh ginger in a shaker, and add the remaining ingredients except for the Craigellachie 13. Fill the shaker with ice, and shake until chilled. Double-strain into an ice-filled rocks glass, and float the Craigellachie on top. Garnish with a piece of candied ginger.
