151 Rivington Launches Irreverent “Trailer Tiki” Cocktail Menu

With fall officially here (on September 23), 151 Rivington launched a subversive, new tiki-based menu that helps us feel like we are still on vacation.

Creating a fresh and irreverent style that they have dubbed “Trailer Tiki,” the team at 151 knowingly subverts all that is sacred in tiki culture serving everything from slushees to shooters to a beer pony in one drink.

Preacher’s Bug Juice
Preacher’s Bug Juice
Ingredients:
- 3/4 oz. Rhum JM Blanc
- 3/4 oz. Plantation Barbados 5yr
- 1/2 oz. Appleton VX
- 1/2 oz. Giffard Banane
- 3/4 oz. Lime Juice
- 1/2 oz. Blue PF Dry Curacao
- 1/2 oz. Orgeat
Preparation: Build all ingredients in a small mixing tin, whip with a small handful of crushed ice and dump into a large Double Old Fashioned. Garnish with a neon sword skewered with pineapple wedge, lime wheel, and cherry.

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz. Scorpion Mezcal
- 1/2 oz. Perry’s Tot Gin
- 3/4 oz. Lime Juice
- 1/2 oz. Raspberry Syrup
- 1/4 oz. Ginger Syrup
- Pony of Miller High Life
Preparation: Combine all elements but beer in a mixing glass, whip with 2 cubes (preferably Kold Draft). Strain into a boot-shaped beer mug. Garnish with a long straw and upturned Miller High Life Pony on top.

South Beach Paradise Diet
Ingredients:
- 1 oz. Plantation 3 Star Rum
- 1 oz. Galliano Ristretto
- 1/4 oz. Smith & Cross
- 1/2 oz. Giffard Banane de Bresil
- 1 1/2 oz. Vanilla Ice Cream
- 1 1/2 oz. Pineapple Juice
- 5 oz. Crushed Ice
Preparation: Blend all ingredients for 20 seconds. Serve in a hurricane glass and garnishw ith pineapple leaves.
