This refreshing drink is also mixed with a unique Ghost Chili Simple Syrup, creating an even spicier and modern twist on a classic cocktail. In addition to being a hot-spot frequented by celebrities and society elite such as Rihanna and Neil Patrick Harris, Butter is known for their innovative cocktails and delicious food. Helmed by Food Network star and Executive Chef Alex Guarnaschelli, the restaurant continues to wows diners while bartenders serve up potent specialty cocktails.

Chilled Drink of the Week: Ghost Margarita

Butter NY’s Ghost Margarita

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. Avion Silver Tequila
  • 1/2 oz. Grand Mariner
  • 1/2 oz. Lime Juice
  • 1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
  • 1 1/2 oz. Ghost Chili Simple Syrup*

Preparation: Add all ingredients together with ice in a cocktail shaker, shake and strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass that has been prepped with a chili salt rim. (Add dried chili powder with coarse sea salt in a small plate). Garnish with a lime wheel.

*Ghost Chili Simple Syrup: Take 1 cup of water and 1 cup of brown demerara with one dried ghost chili pepper, bring to a boil and let cool.
