Hennessy & NBA’s Chris Bosh Celebrate the Launch of Neckwear Line “Mr. Nice Tie”

On September 9, NBA All Star Chris Bosh and number one selling cognac brand Hennessy V.S celebrated the launch of Bosh’s neckwear line Mr. Nice Tie at Carson Street Clothiers.

Accessories brand Armstrong and Wilson collaborated with Bosh to design and develop the collection. Bosh serves as the creative director of the line, which consists of five ties and five bow ties. The night kicked off with a special toast as each guest raised their “Hennessy Nice Tie,” a mixed drink created specifically for Bosh’s launch event. Bosh took a moment to thank his friends, family and business partners for their continued support of his off-court passion.

Following the toast, guests mixed and mingled while shopping the exclusive launch and sipping on Hennessy Nice Tie and Hennessy Berry mixed drinks. Bosh, along with the rest of the design team, chatted with event attendees that included Bosh’s wife Adrienne Bosh, actor and comedian Nick Cannon, Armstrong and Wilson designers, Ontario Armstrong and Clifton Wilson, model Shaun Ross, Los Angeles Laker Nick Young and model Damaris Lewis.

Following the launch event, Bosh and Hennessy hosted a private 25 person dinner at NYC restaurant, Sons of Essex. The intimate dinner was attended by the likes of tennis star Serena Williams, Bosh’s wife Adrienne Bosh, Armstrong and Wilson designers, Ontario Armstrong and Clifton Wilson and a handful of fashion executives. Guests were treated to a custom menu created by Sons of Essex chef that was paired with Hennessy Nice Tie and Hennessy Opulence mixed drinks. The night concluded with a toast given by Hennessy SVP Rodney Williams who gifted Bosh with an engraved bottle of Hennessy X.O on behalf of the brand to celebrate Bosh’s ongoing success on and off the court.
