Marchesi De’ Frescobaldi Expands Organizational Structure to Drive US Market Growth

Promotes Alessandro Lunardi to Director – USA and South America and
Hires Galen Crippin as Export Manager for the United States

Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi (www.frescobaldi.it), the leading wine producer of Tuscany and one of the most historic and respected wine companies in the world, today announced the promotion of Alessandro Lunardi to Director – USA and South America and the hiring of Galen Crippin as Export Manager for the United States. In their roles, Alessandro Lunardi will oversee the Ornellaia, Luce della Vite and Attems brands in North and South America, while Galen Crippin will be responsible for the Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi and Danzante brands in the United States. The team will manage their respective brands in partnership with US importer, Folio Fine Wine Partners.

Alessandro Lunardi first joined Frescobaldi as Luce della Vite US Brand Champion in 1997. Over the years, he assumed responsibility as director for the entire Frescobaldi portfolio before the new promotion to Director – USA and South America for Ornellaia, Luce della Vite and Attems brands. His effectiveness in managing the high-end portfolio and his understanding of the luxury segment of the market led to the broadened scope of Lunardi’s responsibilities and the addition of an international territory.

Galen Crippin joins Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi with over six years of fine wine experience in the United States, having worked for Wirtz Beverage in a sales role and most recently for Vias Imports Ltd. as a regional manager. Galen holds an MBA in Sales & Marketing.
