We’re counting down RyeDay the 13th with Sagamore Spirit—this time in the Windy City!

Both Sagamore’s Signature Straight Rye Whiskey and Cask Strength Rye have graced the shelves of some of Chicago’s hottest bars since 2017. The Aberdeen Tap, a West Town staple for over a decade, will be featuring the ‘Rye Day’ cocktail for RyeDay the13th. It’s the perfect sit-and-sip patio bar cocktail.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz. Sagamore Spirit Signature Rye Whiskey
  • 1/2 oz. Crème de Mure Blackberry Syrup
  • 1/2 oz. Lime Juice
  • 3 oz. Ginger Beer
  • Fresh Mint and Blackberries (for Garnish)

Preparation: Add whiskey, crème de mure and lime juice to a shaker and double strain into a Collins glass with ice. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with mint and a skewer of blackberries.
