In celebration of National Ice Cream Month this July, The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel, is cooling off by making a Sazerac Cocktail Ice Cream. Yes, it does have alcohol in it!
What is debated to be the world’s first cocktail but undeniably the South’s favorite cocktail is being turned into Ice Cream at Teddy’s Café, just a short lobby walk down from the famed Sazerac Bar. This special flavor will be available only during the month of July and only at The Roosevelt.
Head Pastry Chef Deborah Heyd paired up with the Sazerac bartenders to make this spirited dessert, a true nod to a deserving classic.
