Old Milwaukee, a beer rooted in 160 years of American tradition, unveils new packaging that pays homage to America’s pin-up heritage.
Wisconsin-born beer’s new ‘American Pin-Up Series’ hits shelves nationwide this spring, 2017. The new American Pin-Up Series will run on all Old Milwaukee Lager, Old Milwaukee Light, and Old Milwaukee N.A. packaging and will be available at retailers, bars and restaurants nationwide. The first pin-up in the series, ‘Stars and Stripes,’ is modeled after iconic female wartime heroes harkening back to WWII. The next pin-up design in the series, which gives a nod to the hunting and outdoor traditions, will launch in September, 2017, with a new design to follow every four months.
Each design is inspired by different female personalities that embody the ‘Old Mil’ brand and celebrate the American lifestyle. The series raises a glass in honor of the female doers and disruptors who have left a legacy that continues to inspire today.

While the packaging will be getting an update, the tried and true brew that has made Old Milwaukee famous will not change. The awarding winning recipe uses traditional brewing processes and a complex variety of hops and 6-row blend malt, creating a full-bodied, carefully balanced beer. Old Milwaukee has a slightly malty flavor with low to medium hop bitterness and produces a clean finish.
