National Honey Month Drambuie Cocktails

Drambuie, the original heather honey whisky liqueur, is buzzing about National Honey Month.

September marks National Honey Month and it is the perfect excuse to satisfy that sweet tooth with some Drambuie cocktails. The aged malt whisky is a combination of floral, herbal overtones and rich honey, offering a sweet yet balanced taste to your cocktails. Mix up these sweet cocktails below.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 parts Drambuie
  • 2 parts Kosher Pressed Apple Cider
  • 3/4 part Lime Juice
  • 1 sm pinch Kosher Salt
  • 1 dash Angostura Bitters
  • 1 part Kosher Sparkling White Wine (For Dryer Cocktail 2 parts Sparkling Wine)

Preparation: Combine liquid ingredients and salt minus wine into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and stain over ice in a rocks glass. Top with Sparkling wine and garnish with thinly apple slices and mint.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 parts Drambuie
  • 3/4 part Hendrick’s Gin
  • 1/2 part Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 part Crème de Mure
  • 2 tsp. Cranberry-Orange Compote
  • 1 tsp. Plain Greek Yogurt

Preparation: Add all ingredients to a mixing tin with ice. Shake vigorously and double-strain over pebble ice in a double rocks glass. Garnish with skewered Cranberries & Lemon twist.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 parts Drambuie
  • 3/4 parts Monkey Shoulder
  • 3/4 part Lemon Juice
  • 3 slices Ginger
  • Egg White

Preparation: Muddle Ginger with Drambuie, then add the other ingredients. Dry shake, then add ice and shake again. Fine strain out the ginger and garnish with Angostura bitters.
