National Jerky Day is June 12th, 2015. Here are some cocktail recipes that pair perfectly with jerky.

- 1 oz. London Dry Gin (Beefeater)
- 1 oz. Amontillado Sherry (Lustau)
- 1 oz. Aperol
- 2 dashes Peach Bitters
- Basil Leaf
- Duke’s Lemon Zest
Preparation: Combine gin, sherry, aperol, and peach bitters into a mixing glass. Add ice and stir. Strain into a chilled coupe class. Garnish with a basil and zest. Enjoy with KRAVE Basil Citrus Turkey Jerky.
Rye Maple Fizz
- 2 oz. Rye Whiskey (Wild Turkey)
- 1 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
- 3/4 oz Grade B Maple Syrup
- 2-3 drops Aromatic Bitters (Fee Brothers)
- Egg White
- 3 oz. Club Soda
Preparation: Combine rye, juice, syrup, and egg white into a shaker and shake without ice for 5 seconds. Add ice and shake again for 10-15 seconds. Double strain (Hawthorne and fine) into a chilled fizz glass and top w/ club soda. Drop bitters on top. Enjoy with KRAVE Black Cherry BBQ Pork Jerky.
Cilantro Mango Margarita
- 2 oz. Tequila (Don Julio Blanco)
- 1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
- 2 tbsp Mango Preserves (Crofter’s Just Fruit Spread)
- 3-4 Sprigs Cilantro
- Cilantro Sugar/Salt Rim (1-to-1 Salt/Sugar mixture may be substituted)
Preparation: Combine Tequila, Juice, Preserves, and Cilantro in a shaker. Add ice. Shake well. Double strain (Fine and Hawthorne) into a salt/sugar rimmed rocks glass filled w/ fresh ice. Garnish w/ a cilantro sprig. Sip. Savor. Enjoy with KRAVE Chili Lime Beef Jerky.
- 2 oz. Vodka (Tito’s)
- 1/2 cup Chopped Avocado
- 3/4 cup (2-3 scoops) Vanilla Ice Cream
- 4 oz. Pineapple Juice
- 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
- Pinch of Salt
- Cayenne Pepper
Preparation: Combine vodka, avocado, simple syrup, salt, and juice into a blender and blend until smooth. Add ice cream. Blend until smooth once again. Pour into a parfait style glass. Garnish with sliced avocado and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Enjoy with KRAVE Sweet Chipotle Beef Jerky.
