Below are some great event-inspired cocktail options from The Wayfarer, The Skylark, and JIMMY at The James as well as the recently launched Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire. Instead of the boring, traditional derby drinks, these cocktails are unique, inventive and perfect in celebration of the event.

In a rocks glass with ice, add:

Ingredients:
In a tin

  • Muddled Mint
  • 2 oz. Knob Creek Bourbon
  • 1/4 oz. Grand Marnier
  • 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup

Preparation: Shake Rocks Ice. Garnish with an Orange Twist, Mint and a Cherry.

Ingredients:
In a High Ball Glass filled with Ice

  • 2 oz. Earl Grey Old Forester Bourbon
  • 3/4 oz. Drambuie
  • 1 oz. Yuzu
  • 1 oz. Orange Juice
  • 3/4 oz. Honey Syrup
  • 2 Dashes of Orange Bitters

Preparation: Combine in a shaker with a scoop of ice. Shake well and strain into glass. Garnish with an Orange Wedge.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz. Elijah Craig
  • 1/4 oz. Illegal Mescal Reposado
  • 1/4 oz. Yellow Chartreuse
  • 1 oz. Honey Syrup
  • 3/4 oz. Lemon Juice

Preparation: Shake And Strain Over Large Grilled Lemon Ice Cube.
