The Freaky Tiki Swamp Punch is an amplified gin and tonic punch for all. It’s the perfect mix of pineapple juice, fresh lemon juice, basil, and of course, gin and tonic. The Freaky Tiki Swamp Punch is served in a bowl with a fresh pineapple center and edible gummy eyeballs, basil leaves and lemon slices for added flavor.

Single Serving Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz. Gin
  • 1 oz. Pineapple Juice
  • 1/2 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
  • pinch of Basil
  • Tonic

Preparation: Shake all ingredients with the exception of the tonic and strain over fresh ice into highball, top with tonic, garnish accordingly and serve.

Large Format Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 parts Gin
  • 1 part Pineapple
  • 1 part Tonic
  • 1/2 part Simple Syrup
  • 1/2 part Lemon Juice

Preparation: Float basil leaves and full pineapple into punch bowl and serve with dry ice under a spooky blacklight.


​For the bloody vampire lovers, Liquid Lab NYC whipped up a Bloody Booze Bag with a Test Tube Blood Shot. These vampire shooters include cherry vodka, grenadine, white cranberry, fresh lime juice and agave syrup.

Bloody Booze Bags with Test Tube Blood Shots

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. Cherry Vodka
  • dash of Grenadine (for Color)
  • 1 1/2 oz. White Cranberry Juice
  • 1/2 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
  • dash of Agave Syrup

Preparation: Pour all ingredients into “blood bag” and store in the freezer until well chilled. Serve with a straw in blood bag and a side of test tube shooters containing the same cocktail.


For those with a sweet tooth, there’s the Monster Mudslide including Kahlua, creme de menthe, heavy cream and Baileys. This monstrous masterpiece is served in a hurricane glass, topped with mint foam and garnished with your favorite festive Halloween candies such as sour worms and chocolate spiders.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz. Vanilla bean Infused Vodka
  • 1/2 oz. Kahlua
  • 1/2 oz. Creme De Menthe
  • 1/2 oz. Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 oz. Baileys Irish Cream

Preparation: Shake all ingredients and strain over fresh ice into hurricane glass. Top with infused cream* and garnish with an assortment of sour worms, chocolate spiders and other festive halloween edible candies. Add a fun straw to complete this monstrous masterpiece!

*If available, top with a “Creme de Menthe” infused cream using a whipped cream siphon and adding the following: 1 cup of creme de menthe, 1/2 ounce Baileys Irish Cream, & 1 cup of heavy cream. For an added effect, add some green food coloring for a more ghoulish color.


The Black Magic Woman is made with gin, lillet rose, fresh lemon juice, Pamplemousse, abinsthe, and black (flavorless) charcoal for coloring. The Black Magic Woman is garnished with a skeleton hand-gripping hold of fresh blackberries.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz. Gin
  • 1 oz. Lillet Rose
  • 1/2 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 oz. Pamplemousse
  • 1/2 tsp of Activated Charcoal
  • Rinse Your Cocktail Glass with Absinthe

Preparation: Shake all ingredients in a boston shaker, strain up into Absinthe Soaked Coupe Glass and serve.


Additionally, mixologists Parker and Gregory say pumpkin infusions are here to stay and have created two autumn inspired cocktails with their very own Pumpkin Spice Syrup. The Penthouse Pumpkin, available at The Attic Rooftop (251 W 48th St), is a perfect mixture of bourbon, pumpkin spice syrup, fresh lemon juice, pineapple juice, a dash of allspice dram served over rocks and garnished with an orange twist and a light dusting of nutmeg. The Jack O Lantern Margarita, available at Camacho’s (118 E 15th St), is mezcal, fresh lime juice, pumpkin spice syrup, grand marnier, pear nectar, and a dash of orange bitters, garnished with an orange twist and thyme for an added zest.
